Goombuckar Indigenous Workshop

Today we visited the Goombuckar Indigenous bus again. We met Karen and Josh from Goombuckar Creations who helped us decorate and make our own boomerangs. After we tested them out we did Aboriginal face painting, don’t we all look great!

Crazy Hair Day

A fun day today as the children from both Kindy and Pre-Kindy classes came adorned with some beautifully crazy hair!

Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Today, with teddies in hand, the Pre-Kindy and Kindy children headed in to the beautiful grounds of our Suncoast Chrisitian College for a Teddy Bear’s Picnic. Fun, food, chasing games and running races, plus a game of “stacks on” when the children caught Ms Kelly and piled on top!    

Rainy Day Fun

On rainy days at Suncoast Little Learners, our kids experience the grubby exhilaration of sliding through puddles, diving into mud, and getting really, really dirty! Learn more at    

Superhero Day

Today the children in both our Kindy and Pre-Kindy rooms came dressed up as their favourite Superheroes. Rumour has is that Spiderwoman, Spiderman, Superman and several Disney princesses made appearances. Early Childhood Educators Day

Today we celebrated Early Childhood Educators Day with morning tea, gifts and huge thank you to our wonderful teachers. Suncoast Christian College Principal, Greg Mattiske joined our Suncoast Little Learners Director, Krystle Cullen in thanking the teachers for their love, and their dedication to the children in our care.

Ocean Life Visit

Today Little Learners were treated to a visit from Ocean Life Education and had the opportunity to touch life ocean animals in a fun an interactive experience. The children learned about the human impacts on pollution on sea turtles. The children also had the opportunity to meet (and pat) Rainbow that fresh water turtle.

Pyjama Day

Pyjama Day Heaps of fun on Friday as the children came straight from bed in their PJs!  The children enjoyed hide an seek in the garden and Library time took on whole new meaning with lots of wonderful “bedtime” stories.
